What a rental costs in Marrakech
One flat rate per router, per day. The price does not change with the number of people using
it, or with how much data you get through.
| Length of stay | Total, one router |
|---|---|
| 2 days (minimum) | €9.80 |
| 3 days | €14.70 |
| 5 days | €24.50 |
| 7 days | €34.30 |
| 10 days | €49.00 |
| 14 days | €68.60 |
Optional extras, added at checkout: a portable power bank at €1.90 per day, and a car phone
holder at €0.90 per day. For a stay of three weeks or more, or three or more devices, we quote
individually rather than multiplying the daily rate — email
contact@pocketwifimorocco.com
and ask for a long-stay price.
Where we hand it over
Anywhere in Marrakech, at a time you choose between 08:00 and 20:00:
- Marrakech Menara airport (RAK) — in the arrivals hall, so you land connected.
- Your riad in the medina — the courier calls or sends a WhatsApp before arriving, which
matters when an address inside the medina is easier to describe than to find. - Your hotel or Airbnb in Guéliz, Hivernage, Palmeraie or anywhere else in the city.
Collection works the same way and is also free: on your return date the courier picks the
router up from whatever address suits you, which does not have to be the one it was delivered to.
One router for the whole group
The price is per router, not per person. Up to ten devices connect to the same private
network at once — phones, laptops, tablets, a camera uploading to the cloud — so a family or a
group of friends pays €34.30 for a week between them, not each. Nobody needs an eSIM-compatible
handset, an unlocked phone, or a SIM swap; you switch the router on and join the Wi-Fi with the
password supplied.
It keeps working outside the city
Marrakech is a base as much as a destination, and the router travels with you. Coverage
follows the Maroc Telecom 4G network across Morocco, so a day trip towards the Atlas, the Agafay
desert, Essaouira or the Ouzoud falls is on the same connection you had in the city. The two-city
restriction is about where we hand the router over and collect it, not about where it works.
How it works
- Book online. Pick your dates, times and delivery address. No account needed, and
confirmation arrives by email within seconds. - We deliver, free. To your hotel, riad, Airbnb or the airport, charged and ready.
- Connect everything. Up to 10 devices, unlimited data, no app to install.
- We collect it, free. The €50 deposit is released once the router is back in good condition.
Pocket Wi-Fi, eSIM or a local SIM in Marrakech?
All three work. Which is cheapest depends on how many of you there are:
- Travelling alone with an eSIM-compatible phone? An eSIM is usually cheaper — around
€24 for a week. We say so plainly rather than pretend otherwise. - Two or more people, or anyone needing a laptop online? The router costs less, because
€34.30 covers the group rather than each traveller. - A local SIM means finding a shop, showing a passport and having an unlocked handset,
which is time out of a short trip.
If you are comparing us against the international mail-order rental brands, they ship a device
to your home address before you travel and you post it back afterwards. We hand it to you here.
The full, sourced comparison is in
renting locally versus shipping it from abroad.
Questions people ask about Marrakech delivery
Can you deliver to the airport? Yes — Marrakech Menara arrivals, free, at the time you
give us when booking.
Can I get one today? Often yes. Same-day delivery is possible subject to availability;
book and we will confirm.
Can I return it somewhere else? Yes. Delivery and collection addresses do not have to match,
as long as both are in Marrakech or Fès.
Is the data really unlimited? Yes — no daily allowance, no total cap, and no throttling at
any point in the rental.
What happens to the €50 deposit? It is pre-authorised, not taken. It is released when the
router comes back in good condition, and charged only if it is lost or damaged.
Do you deliver outside Marrakech and Fès? Not at the moment. The router works across
Morocco once you have it, but hand-over and collection are those two cities only.
