The price is per router, not per person. A 7-day rental is €34.30 whether one person or
ten are connected.

## Pocket Wi-Fi or eSIM?

If you are travelling alone with an eSIM-compatible phone, an eSIM is usually cheaper
(around €24 for 7 days). From two travellers upward, or if anyone needs a laptop online,
the pocket Wi-Fi costs less — €34.30 for 7 days, shared. See
https://www.esimmaroc.com/en/ for eSIM plans.

## Renting here vs the international services

Travel WiFi and MyWebspot are mail-order: they ship the router to you before you leave and
you ship it back afterwards. We hand it over in Marrakech or Fès and collect it. Figures
read from each provider's own website on 28 August 2026; dollars converted at the European
Central Bank reference rate of 26 August 2026 (€1 = $1.1669).

| | Pocket WiFi Morocco | Travel WiFi | MyWebspot |
|---|---|---|---|
| One week, router only | **€34.30** — nothing else to pay | Quote-based, plus delivery, taxes and return postage | $129.30 (about €110.81) — $39 device + 7 × $12.90 |
| Data | Unlimited 4G, no daily cap, no throttling | 4G LTE, described as unlimited | 1 GB at full speed, then reduced until local midnight |
| How you receive it | Handed to you in Morocco, free delivery and collection | Shipped from Houston, France, Spain or Chile; 2–3 business days | Shipped to you, "within 48 hours" |
| How you return it | We collect it, free | You post it back | You keep it — you bought it |
| Devices at once | Up to 10 | Up to 5 | Up to 5 |
| Deposit | €50, refundable | Not published | None — you own the hardware |

For one week in Morocco, MyWebspot's first-trip total is about 3.2× ours, because the $39
router is bought before any data is used. Travel WiFi also sells devices outright at $199
(Sapphire Touch 4) and $399 (Sapphire 5G); its per-day rental rate for Morocco is quoted
per destination and dates, and we could not obtain a fixed published figure, so none is
stated here. In fairness: if you travel to many countries several times a year, owning a
global device can be cheaper than renting in each one. Their model suits frequent
multi-country travel; ours suits a trip to Morocco.
