## Dates that change a trip

- **Ramadan** next starts in February 2027. Opening hours change and daytime eating in public may cause offence. Details in [Ramadan 2027 in Morocco](https://pocketwifimorocco.com/ramadan-2027-in-morocco-what-changes-for-visitors/).

- **School holidays, Christmas and Easter** tend to be the busiest weeks: book accommodation and your router early.

- **Winter rain in the mountains.** The UK government’s travel advice notes that heavy rain can cause flash flooding, particularly in the mountains or near rivers during the winter months.

## Staying connected in any season

In the heat you navigate from shade to shade and book ahead; in winter you check what is open and message the riad about heating. Either way the phone is in use all day.
